Contests and Competing

The Harmony Junction Chorus has a fine tradition of excellence on the stage and at competitions. March 2003, the chorus grabbed the Most Improved Chorus title at the Southwest Division Competition of the Land 'O Lakes District in Mankato, MN. That performance also qualified them to compete at the Land 'O Lakes District Contest in Rochester, MN on October 25th. After the dust settled, the chorus improved their previous score and finished 15th out of 19 choruses with the Midwest Vocal Express, our friends from Greendale, WI, finishing with 1st place honors. Right on their heels (only 12 points out!) the guys from the Hilltop, MN Chapter, the Great Northern Union, with an incredibly emotional, two ballad set that brought us to the edge of our seats and tears to our eyes.
